The Rhythms of Stone
Graceful garden art contributes immeasurably to the beauty of the landscape. In this three-day workshop, award-winning sculptor, DJ Garrity leads a fascinating exploration of the creative energies awakened through the ageless process of stone sculpture. The artist will guide students through the process of creating a unique garden sculpture from native basalt. The finished work is appropriate for home or garden and can even be hollowed and used as a central accent for a water feature! The workshop is designed both for the novice and students with previous experience. The course is accredited by the Oregon State Landscape Contractors Board for continuing education.
