The Rhythms of Stone
Graceful garden art contributes immeasurably to the beauty of the landscape. In this three-day workshop, award-winning sculptor, DJ Garrity leads a fascinating exploration of the creative energies awakened through the ageless process of stone sculpture. The artist will guide students through the process of creating a unique garden sculpture from native basalt. The finished work is appropriate for home or garden, and the workshop is designed both for the novice and students with previous experience. The course is accredited by Augustana College of South Dakota.
