Little Crater Meadow/Timothy Lake Hike
A haven for snipe and sandhill cranes and a lush wet meadow rich in wildflowers, Little Crater Meadow surrounds the tiny, deep and clear Little Crater Lake. Camas, lupine and buttercup bloom, while yellowthroats sing in the thickets. We'll cross the meadow and take the Pacific Crest Trail to Timothy Lake. This easy hike will be less than 5 miles, with the option for a longer hike.

Huntington/Dickel Garden Tour
Two acres of grounds surround the historic William Case House (1859) near Champoeg. There, Mirza Dickel and landscape architect Wallace Huntington have created a reflection of a formal English Garden with Northwest flair. The quintessentially British gazebo, croquet lawn, and magnolias reside among box hedges, left to go natural in a very Oregon way.

Continuing Bonsai
Bonsai is an art that has evolved over thousands of years. It is so much more than planting a little tree in a little pot! If you have a bonsai treasure, you already realize this, and this class is for you. Noted artist Alan Taft will guide your further exploration of the possibilities. Bring a previous effort in bonsai or a tree you want to work with. If you would like to begin a new project, trees and pots will be available for purchase.
